Beyond the Boxes: A Community Conference

Our second annual community conference features speakers from across the community who are working to do more than performative gestures and allyship in their own workplaces and organizations. Attendance at our conference is completely free of cost. Speakers will explore initiatives, policy changes, and events that go above and beyond 'checking the boxes' to creatively and intentionally foster inclusive spaces for their clients, customers, and employees. This conference will be an opportunity to learn from others in our community, as well as explore opportunities for growth for us all.

Please note - we are hoping to host this event in a hybrid format with an in-person and online option for attendees. Our in-person location is Maawn Doosh Gumig. In-person space is limited and in-person registration is now closed. If you wish to be placed on a waitlist in the event that an in-person spot becomes available, please email slcommunityconference@gmail.com. Virtual registration will remain open up until the date of the conference. Attendance in-person and online is free of cost.

This conference will be hosted in accordance with public health measures. If this requires us to move to online delivery only, we will notify all attendees as soon as possible.
